How do people get away with this?

Got on a contract job today, boss said it had been screeded by another fitter its ready to go.

 

What a luvley bit of screed. Did he say what type of fitter he was? I'm guessing window

That would look good cove and capped. They put skirtings on knowing it is a cove and cap. Bastard getting them off. Lol
