    Never to be missed.
So here I am at the office trying to catch up with lost time at the hospital. I'm getting all the binding done from last week, as I'm working I'm thinking I must get rid of that discontinued vinyl book, by now I'm in a bit of a binding frenzy and come to the end of last weeks stuff, I look round and see this book and think to myself ????
Ok, now I've taken it apart, cut off the holes, rounded the corners and I'm... yes binding them. Lol.
Now, I phone the mrs up, she's at the hospital and get her to ask the people in the room if they have cats or dogs??
Bizarre I know, but that's just me..
Two out of the four do, so I'm going to take some there and ask what they would pay for them if they were to buy from a pet/diy shop?
They can have one f.o.c, for taking part in my little madness moment..
Update you all later with prices they have said..
Lunch over and back to doing the previous weeks....

I bound some of these to use at home as trays to put the cat food on. Had a rubber Matt before that discoloured the karndean. The vinyl didn't.

They said they would pay about £2.50 to £3 for each of them, so i'm going to do a few and see if the shops want them to sell...

About 3 mins eachand thats to square off and bind.
Apart from my time it's about 3p per mtr.
I've sold 10 from that book to someone who's going to sell them on in 10's to shops, I charged him 50p each, he's selling them for £1 and the shop will sell for £2 > £3 depending shop and area.
    So that's about 30p cost and a profit of £4.70 for 10

I use a 50mm ball castor cup.. the bottom for carpets or turn it over and use that for the vinyl.. or just freehand as long as you're not bosseyed...lol

    Genius !

Think our machine was about £2.5k. We done well binding pieces for a guy who went and sold them at car boots. He would have about 100 a time at £1.50 a pieces. Sizes were roughly 1.20x.80. He had about 400 or so before they stopped selling so well. He wanted more but bigger hallway runner size. That's when it really stopped being profitable for us. Do you get many motorhomes? We get maybe one a month.
