Feather & rapid repair

    Who mixes these with warm water ?
    What's your thought on doing this ?

    Iv done this loads before as i was told it helps dry quicker? Not sure if its more beneficial to do with cold? But if its a large area no! Done that before and the buckets went like a rock! Haha

    warm water will make it dry faster. Side effects are the compound can crack while drying and can leave it weak.

    yep do the warm water trick too, ive also been known to mix rapid with feather as well works a treat.

    Never had either crack ? Even with hot water then sticking a fan heater over it !

    I've done that before to see what happened & it actually seens to take both property of rapid drying & goes down smooth ! Wouldn't make a habit of it though

    yep thats what ive found too! only did it original because I used to much water with my little bit of feather and only had rapid with me to thicken it up :)

    i did on a staircase i was repairing. Was in a hurry as wanted stairs in use. Ended up taking twice as long as i had to redo.
