hey guys, the role is specifically for contract installers so it will include an aspect of lvt but you will need to be fully competent in vinyl sheet and cove forming work. Also preparation altho I know that's not a problem if your lvt fitters.

Hope this answered your questions :)

I spent a month in Oz, and liked it, but i`m not sure how far 55k would go.
Not trying to put a downer on anything, but as far as I know food etc is far more over there. A better standard of living for sure, but how far would your 55k go over there ?
What sort of mortgage would that income give you, and what type of property could you buy for your money.
I have seriously considered something like this before, but I don`t think I have the bollo*s to up sticks, and leave everything ive spent the last 25 years building up.

On another note, were the busiest we have been for about 4 years, so I have got my fingers crossed the economy here, is making a slow recovery.

I'm always busy enough, been more so this year, from a personal point of view I hope the economy doesn't recover too much, the higher interest rates that would inevitably lead to would p@£$ me right off.

I thought it was done on a points system and you had to get sponsors for residency?

I know a few fitters in oz, they are on a lot more than £55000 a year fitting carpet only! A guy I know out there is earning almost £5000 per week doing safety flooring!
