I have asked this before but does anyone know of fitters I can call on in the London area. It's mainly carpet, you need tools and own van. Self employed basis, as and when I ned you. When I'm busy I cannot do all the work with the fitters i have and I've turned jobs away which I hate. Good rates but I want a good fitter in return. Over 50, can't turn up on time, can't do a good day, no skills, can't speak English- don't reply, thanks.
Haha. Ok, there is noting wrong with it. My dad is 66 and when he is not in retirement mode, he works dam hard. Long days, weekends, never ever moans, just gets stuck in. I also have another fitter who is 63, good worker aswell. Problem I have is they will be finished soon and i need to think for the future and when we do jobs in London, lots of flats, like Tuesday, 4 th floor with no lift, it kills them before we start working. The labourer was evening moaning! Also you can't teach an old dog new tricks.
Wish there was a dislike button Nothing wrong in being over 50!!!!! work twice as many hours/ lift twice the weight of most blokes half my age, not likely to retire any time soon either.
Just about to PM you.. then read the last bit.... oops (flats/kills/dog/tricks) not a good combination..lol
Good fella to work for chaps. If you get in there and keep nick and rodger sweet, your off to a start. Nice jobs aswell.
Agree with blinco, nicks a good bloke to work for job is as described no hidden nastys a good bloke to work for
