A little loads of confirmed work but no solid dates yet. They all want it done before but need to decorate! I feel a mad week before coming on
Already got them 5weeks booked and can work weekend if I want. Feeling tired already, can't wait for the break.
Fully booked uptill xmas ( well as busy as I want to be ) but if the snow does come then **** it nothing I can do about it its just going to make jan and feb very busy
I'm fully booked this year & taking jobs for Feb now ! Just booked a contract job between Xmas & new year so hope all goes to plan & yes snow would not help at all ?
I have been busy all year, until now!! a much quieter November than normal, and plenty of days not booked up yet, se-la vie
Not solid booked but ticking over nicely. Been a good year really. Got the 20 th 21st booked so that maybe my last job of the year. Although i wouldn't be surprised if I'm doing something on the 24 th.
Full till mid jan at the moment , great year for me never stopped !! think I'll be after extra subbies next year if buisness keeps growning the way it is :thumbs :thumbs
Totally agree. I'm pulling my hair out trying to get everything done. Then still getting calls and not wanting to let people down.
Interesting comment, so many of my customers are saying it's the best it's been in years, one has traded 17yrs and says this year will be his best ever, another 10yrs..best ever etc etc let the good times roll....I say it's because of the influx of lvt's !!!
Nice to hear things are going well for people, and those that are a bit slow, I'm sure it will pickup.
Was really struggling until last week just odd jobs nothing worth shouting about. Went to Amsterdam on a stag do last weekend with all the lads from a company I sub with. Anyway two of us managed to get on the ferry and headed straight to the bar but after about an hour and half realised the ferry was half capacity and non of the lads where to be seen. We went to the reception area and asked what was happening and where was everyone which the response was shocking but got us rubbing our hands together haha. The tide has risen up 2 metres higher than normal and to top it off the tidal barrier had ceased and couldn't go all the way down as it should. Eventually it submerged the lads got on the ferry had a cracking weekend came home. As you can imagine the phones didnt stop ringing day and night. Sounds harsh but it's a massive bonus right before Christmas running far into the new year.
I managed to push 2 jobs back to January so can calm down now. ( no jokes ) Got to do a nursery job over Xmas though which I didn't want to do but it's only 30m2 screed an LVT.
