Anyone that does wood should have a decent meter for checking moisture content. I've got a Tramex MRH3 ( http://www.tramex.ie/Our_Products_Details.aspx?ID=14 ) that I don't need (got 2). It is for the meter only. It can be used for non-destructive testing of MC of wood and other products. With the optional hygro-i probe it can be used for humidity and temperature testing (can be used for hood and in-situ (plugs in floor) RH testing). I've used it for checking MC of concrete floors and compared the readings to a F Ball hood. The readings were pretty similar although it's not calibrated for testing concrete (has a masonry setting along with other options). To buy new, they're around £350 + VAT Anyone interested, PM me an offer.
