On one of the american flooring forums a guy posted a pic of some flooring he rejected. It was rippled heavily down both sides. The manufacturer sent him a link to a video about how to remove the ripples. http://vimeo.com/46347119 Anyone going to get paid for the extra time? Buy cheap, get cheap.
Do think they can get these bubbles out of this, second lot I have had this year from polyflor, Makes you laugh, they said can't you lay it? But if I had laid it and then had bubbles and couldn't get them out, they would have said "why did I lay it"
i had exactly the same with 3 rolls of polyflor mystique this year it went down with a few bubbles but next day it were fine.
Also had a lot of problems with Mystique this year. We had about 20+ rolls at a hospital, and a lot were faulty. Up until this year, I never had any problems with Poly, but quite a few this year.
Have they given a reason why it has so many bubbles ? This is where using f46 / ps adhesive can catch you out, sticks great on the day but bubbles keep appearing after install .
That's why I wouldn't fit it, and had to get replacement from a dealer the next day and had to work all night to get it finished, used f44 on the border colour which was also bubbly but not so bad,got it down but had to heat it and double drop it. A month later and polyflor still haven't picked it up, and I bet they will argue about paying me to work late to finish, But if I had laid it and then it got condemned, it would cost them a lot more to uplift, latex and relay, I sent then a very strong letter last time that they should have a better quality control system and this shouldn't have left the factory!
Not sure about that, haven't had a problem with polysafe, I was told the fault is rolling up too quickly when warm, maybe they are running the plant faster to make more money,
Normally that's when it goes flat on one side, and you get ripples the full width. this came straight from polyflor so they don't have an excuse really
