Hi does anyone know what these are? I've been asked for them today for a contract I'm about to start But never been asked before and haven't got a clue where to start. Or if anyone has some drafted up already that I could use? Tia
To be honest it's a load of s... But it's to cover their arses. Prime example. We did a gym, we had to wear metal toe cap boots to fit carpet tiles and we were stopped on the first day because we didn't all have them. Cybex (gym equipment) turned up and to move all the heavy stuff, they turned up in trainers but because they were not seen and it was on their risk assessment/ method statement that they would wear metal toe, they got away with it. Method statement is details of what you will do, risk assessment is all risks involved during the job and materials used. So if you are using glue, get the details from f. Ball and add them to it. We know a health and safety officer so he does them for us but go on- line, it's all on there. Any questions pm me, but uv would probably be the best
