Just a heads up for you all. The forum costs a lot of money to host every month. I have paid out of my own pocket for the last few years. The cost is equivalent to a mortgage on a small/first time buyers property. To cover these costs we either load the forum with adverts from Google advertising to the public where they can purchase flooring for peanuts or we add a donate button. We tried the donate button but we get very minimal donations. The donations over 12 months would not cover 1 months hosting costs. So to keep the place advert free we are now going to charge for the trade area. The trade area will be host many voucher codes for tools, discounts etc on courses along with more information. End of the day if im going to charge for the trade area, it will start to get more added to it. The actual forum itself will remain FREE. So in other words if you get locked out of the trade area then its because you now have to pay for it (no friends, brothers rates etc. It will be a automated system i have limited ability's to over ride for certain reasons. If i was to give access free to one person then another would want it free. Even i will have to pay!The only people who will be exempt from charge is moderators. So yes it will be free for me as a moderator, but if i was to login as 'matt' it will not let me on without payment. As i only use my 'matt' account it looks like i will be paying also. End of the day i have being paying for everyone for the last few years and i simply cant afford it. Adverts or we pay ! The charges will be - £10 for 1 month access £20 for 6 months access £30 for 12 months access. I hope you all understand why there will be a charge and i hope to see you all in the trade area. Any issues give me a shout.

I know you dont mate. You being one who has donated more than once, makes me want to be able to override the system and give you free. Hence i have opted for a automated system i cant ! But me being who i am i will be paying back your donation personally for you to use on the new system. Many thanks for your support Mike.
I couldn't afford the lvt course in February because of major issues with my van. But £30 for a years subscription to the trade area is a great price for a great service. How do I pay ?
No idea mate ! I have asked for it to be set up through PAYPAL. As i understand, one day we will try and get into trade section and it will tell you you have to pay. I think you simply pay and then the forum will grant you access. I dont know tho mate. Belive it or not even tho i own the forum i don't have a clue with computers, i pay someone to look after the place and do any upgrades etc. I have simply simply been advised what to do, i pay the bill and then **** happens !
Prices sound fair to me £30 is a lot less to pay than the profit loss through adverts on the site offering discounted materials and I will have no problems paying it especially as PayPal comes out of my Mrs account haha
