    Hi guys need some advice

I have a customer who has a big commercial room that needs leveling.. It's floorboards and it's goner have karndean fitting after..

    Room size 20 meters x 13 meters

The floor has a hip in the floor.. I think the right wording is concaved basically Across the 13 meters it's higher in the middle and dipped around the sides through your the whole floor.

I cant put a straight edge across as it's to much of a big room .. How can I find out the difference between the middle of the floor to the sides edges??

Hope I have explained it correctly.. Any help would really be helpful

    Thanks

    Which one??

I don't won't to raise the floor more than highest pout At the moment... Obviously I will need to ply etc that will raise it..

All the levels I have seen sit too much off the floor

Is it being leveled for practical or aesthetic reasons? I mean are we talking about one or two high joists causing a ridge in the middle of the floor or a gradual rise and fall? The reason I ask is a gradual rise and fall is unlikely to be visible (unless it's really severe!) whereas a high spot sticks out like a sore thumb.

Sorry I don't see what difference the height of the laser makes if you use a staff or tape measure.

If you want it LEVEL then use a laser and pins.

But does it need to be level or smooth?

    Sorry for the late replies

    It's getting leveled for anastetic
No it's not one or two joist it's like dips at one side of room then raises up to the middle then dips back to same height as the start... Basically I'm a bit drunk at the moment so I can't think of the write words but all I can think off is a boat bottom if u turn it upside down.. Visually it is I think it's about20 or 25 mum difference ..,

It's a rise then fall situation..

I ideally it need to be levelish but it will be soooth once I have finish it's just getting it level
