    hi guys, lets say you hire a firm to dispose of old floorcovering from site, are you liable for anything.
    eg where they take it, any licences needed, do i have to ask questions and get answers legally.

    I think you have to check they have the correct waste disposal licence for the waste they take.... Not 100% sure if anything else is needed

    you need to make sure they are a real company with a receipt to prove you paid them for a service.

    If they did fly tip and it came back to bite you, well you will have to have proof you paid someone to dispose for you. If this company went bump or technically didnt exist then they would chase you as its your waste.
