Daz, why you trying to match real wood to plastic? You have the knowledge and the skills to install, why not install the product they want? Or would wood flooring not be the best option for your customer?

Yes mate, however you should still maintain normal conditions. enginner will forgive but if you push it, well it will bite. Bit like amtico, karndean etc will bite you in a conservatory if you push it.
Daz, I always apply loc guard/click guard in engineered joins when it's being installed in a kitchen (That's if it's not getting pva'd). It seals the joins and greatly helps prevent surface moisture damage. It's not 100% bullet proof but it gives that extra protection. Obviously not against a flood though
