    To cut a look story short does anyone know of any chemicals available they will break up a block of this?

    No but a breaker should do the job ?

    It's down a waste pipe from the kitchen and solid inside the drain. I was surprised it's managed to set in 2 days.

    replacing the waste pipe isn't a problem if it's in the drain...good luck.. you're going to need to rip that out and replace, not going to be easy mate
