As any one had problems with pressure sensitive over feather on screed? Had a nightmare of a day tiles were pulling up the adhesive, tested the glue on a patch of screed and it were fine but on the feather it pulled the adhesive off the floor and transferred on the tile, I let the feather go off for just over sixty minutes sanded hoovered wiped down with damp cloth so there were no dust!

No didn't prime the screed or the feather, where it were screed only it were fine but not on the parts with feather, when I pulled a tile up it did look slightly darker as though the feather weren't dry enough

Its because PS tacks off on the surface & doesn't really soak in so when its at full tack & you pull a tile out over feather it pulls the top off the feather !
    Everyone's had this issue mate.
I find it doesn't pull of if its buffed which polishes it or if you put loads of primer over the top & let it soak through.
If I'm plying a large area & feathering I spin my buffer over the lot & never have this problem same with dusty screed.
Best way is either don't pull the tiles out lol or get a good finish with the screed so it doesn't need any feather which I know isn't always possible if your screeding on your Todd !

Is it just me or does feather seem to take ages on some jobs? Using uzin 888 at the mo which seems a bit quicker than 500 or Ardex but not much in it. Tried hot water, fan and heater, heat blower seems best.

you should prime all surfaces is using PS. Ps sticks to the surface and dont soak in like a wet set does. Feather is very weak so always a issue on feather.

Give the ultrafloor skim coat a go. Found it goes of a lot quicker than others and seems to dry with a much better surface.

I've found that over the last few months along with screeds taking longer to dry and ps adhesive taking longer to tack. I put it down to the exceptionally wet weather in recent months causing the moisture in the air to be high.

Personally i can't stand the ultra floor skim coat or patch it, I found it took twice as long drying and needed topping up quite often, also I found it quite gritty and couldn't get a true feather edge unlike ardex or uzins 888. Started using it as a cheaper alternative but after a couple of weeks reverted back to the costlier stuff.

Don`t know about the feather, but the Patch it has just been re-vamped, along with some of there other products.
I have some Patch it, along with 200 new Level It 2, to lay tomorrow.
I also found there Feather a bit pony, so none of that there to try out.

I do like the level it 2 screed it's nice to use and settles great, pretty sure it's got a high compression strength too for a latex based screed. In all fairness it was about 18mths ago the last time I used their feather it on a biggish area so I really can't give an opinion if they've revamped since, but I found it terrible then when I used it.
