How long to allow screed to dry before LVT's

    In an unheated room at present temps how long will a new sand /cement screed need to dry before LVT's can be laid?

    i screeded one with latex last week, went back 5 days later to fit vinyl and was still damp in patches, house was empty with no heating on

    Rule of thumb is 1mm per day upto 50mm thick (in ideal conditions, i.e. heating on, stable humidity / enviroment).
    This time of year, without any heating, it could be doubled.
    Best bet is to do a moisture test with either a hygrometer box or insitu sleeves.

    Yep 28 days before you should touch it longer really
