I've been up at Floorskills doing the 3 day wood course.
I was with another couple of lads.
Dan took the 1st day covering subfloor prep, very in depth and well worth doing just on its own.
The next 2 days were with Sid Bourne who must know just about all there is to know about wood and its capabilities. We covered all sorts, basic stuff through to some design and border work. Hands on and a bit of theory.
I've been fitting for 25+ years but its only after going on a course that is run by truly knowledgeable people that you realize how much more there is to learn.

I can't recommend the course and trainers enough. For anyone that wants to improve themselves and their level of skill so they can earn and rightly charge more, its got to be done.

It won't be the last course I do, now I know a bit more, I want to keep learning.

    Thanks for FloorSkills feedback.

As always it was a pleasure to have you with us.

PS, Jess said "was you not happy with your lunch?"

Probably because there was some left - I normally pig out but decided I need to lose some off my belly. Keep having to buy new trousers.

I'm starting to look like a pot bellied caveman
