Masking tape

Which one do you use for skirts when screeding I you do.

We were using a prodec one from toolstation because its £3.64 for 50mm wide.
But I wen to a job this week Paul had screeded a week ago an the tape was still on. It wAs a nightmare to get off so might buy a better one.

But if you're leaving it on for a long while you need some of that painters tape it's blue in colour, I use it for masking out the court markings I do

Why dan. What is the blue one.

 

The blue one doesn't transfer so its easy to get off and doesn't pull away the paint/wood.

 

I use the blue one for doing court markings dan

 

Are you messy Then !! I never tape it. And never get it up the skirts. Normally for me it's the walls mixing it.

 

I only tape the skirtings to save the compound flowing away as the odd tiny bit of screed rubs off easy enough, Ardex p51 primer dried on is a different story as my labourer knows too well

 

If I need to mask anything I use Kip tape

Yes mate. I good selection then.

 

I like useing frog tape its low tack and only 25mm, daz how deep do you screed using 50mm tape

 

I don't screed many, Paul does most.
