Wood job

    After me doing the wood level 1 course with floorskills I decided to start doing wood jobs. So took on this bamboo job and got my mate graham ( Santa ) to assist as well.

    Its from taskers ( DIY shop ) by nicoline. It was a floating floor. Said on it not to fully glue. Not sure it was all bamboo. Hard to cut though.

    Took a while too as some planks were bent a bit so had to strap it up a lot.

    Graham did the fireplace with cork. Amazing bit of skill I thought.

    Great to use my new skills from the wood course so a big thanks to Matt for that.

    Good to get off the LVT for once. Even though I did the wet areas in Karndean lol

    Even did some carpet too :)

    Thats grass not wood mate : )
    Looks really good. So the answer is float grass!!

    No mate Was there 3 days in total.

    Uplift carpets take off skirts in living areas

    Uplift carpet in hall.

    Plywood shower & Bathroom

    Screed toilet.

    Lay Karndean to them.

    Fit carpet to hall and refit carpet on landing.

    Do all doortrims.

    if you can fit lvt to your standard then wood floorings easy, almost identical to fit although i wouldnt have floated it ,best to bond or secret nail but nice job daz.
