Lvt border help

    With the pattern border do you set that out first so the pattern sequence matches with corner squares and does this dictate how far the pattern border is set from the wall?

    the reason I ask is I went on a job last week to do a wet room and they had karndean in hallway with pattern border but the pattern border was not in sequence there was a half diamond cut into a full diamond on some corners

    Yes mate always set out the pattern equal to the corner pieces which does determine the distance from the wall !

    Otherwise it looks odd as you noticed

    Also if your doing square tiles on 45° & want to keep half & full tiles with the border hitting on the points of the full tiles you have to lay the field first to achieve it although the border can be slightly different widths its barely noticable as it more aesthetically pleasing to the eye so doesn't stand out
