i have to agree with lvt man,
I do think that someone with a shop, a wage to pay for someone to be in there all the time, will be more expensive than someone with just a lock up. They need to charge more to cover their over heads. I have a unit which is an over head but its cheaper than a shop and there isn't someone in there 6 days a week so I can be cheaper than someone with a shop and still make enough money. If I was offering some very skilled design floors like daz, spacey then I would charge literally as much as I could because you are paying for that skill. I wouldn't care if I was more expensive than a shop because if they want that standard then they will pay for it.

im closing this thread lads and im going to start a new one in the trade section. I will leave this thread here tho so people can see it and if they want to join in then they will find a new thread in the Trade Section.

The thread in the trade section will be a discussion on rates. We will come up with a table and when we all agree (using polls) i will publish the final table of charges on the open forum for every one to see. We might even knock up a seperate table of charges for TRADE only which will stay in TRADE ONLY for supply costs so we can all be supplying at simular prices. try and put a end to the price war. Its been pointed out that shops are dying, well if they all die we are in trouble as the customer wont be able to see products and our costs will then increase again as we will now all turn into a mobile show room also.

See you in the trade section lads !
