    Unbelievable, spent 3 weeks sorting out a insurance job for a customer inc chasing insurance co up . Quoting etc.
    loss adjuster calls me to sort things out and gives us job then just get a email from customer saying theyve got the money and thanks but will not be having job done.why do ins co give the cheques to the custoner aaarrrgggghhhh.

    Sounds like you've been stitched right up there mate..

    Ins paying customers directly can work in are favour sometimes though - get paid straight after the job instead of waiting.

    Horrible when that happens...you may have been played like a fiddle just so the punters can get their hands on the cash...like Wes said cash settling the punter doesn't always work out...

    A few years back a guy went ballistic when the insurance had sent us the check, demanding his money he didn't want us to do the job blah blah blah ( he accidently spilt gloss paint between a lounge/dinning room) had great pleasure in going to fit that one haha
