Got a job to do it's a large bathroom which has been ply'd , screwed down. The builder is putting electric web type underfloor heating down and wants me to screed over it ready for tiling. Just wondering which screed is best to use. ??

Often need 2 coats as some of the cables lift with the 1st lot

LVT will need 7-9mm on top of the highest wire to stop it heating the tile and causing discolouration. I use 1 bag per metre square.

    Main 8mm fibre reinforced screed
Some of these systems come with a primer to bond the mesh wires to the ply.
NA can be used to encapsulate water pipe UFH but not sure about electric.
I've got one the same this week

As creative said check in with the UFH manufacturer. I have just taken on job to be covered with Art Select. The UFH company recommend 160w/m2 with a single coat of fibre reinforced screed at 12mm depth. The customer decided to buy the 200w/m2 which has put the depth requirement up to 15mm again in one sitting. I have moved from Stopgap 700 to Mapei renovation as this will go up to 30mm, Stopgap max recommended depth is 10mm.
