Measured a job a few weeks ago for a previous customer. Told me she was going to get the builder to screed the floor. I told her in no uncertain terms not too or else I'll have to put it right. Any way here are the results.7464[/ATTACH] uploadfromtaptalk1404937194595.jpg
Now its going to cost more to grind it out. I had to scrape about 3mm of just to put hygrometer down.

The screed he used is made by Dunlop.

    That's why the rubber then!

I was asked to fix one like that. Fitted on top of bitumen Addy, told the punter to keep cost down he could break it off himself and left him a bolster and wished him good luck.
The chippings were layered , rubber white chalky, beige then grey, can only guess water was added to the mix.

Amazing screed here that goes over plywood. You add a additive so it flexes and sticks.

Actually I was in a bit of a pickle once & had to buy some screed from wickes & it was actually quite decent but a bit over priced for water based
