Yes its good stuff to use, flows nice and the finish is completely flat after a good spike.
Can seem a little soft in the odd patch at times but after a going over with the str or block opens it up.

company I subby to use it 80% of the time for the usual.

this is the ultimate 2 yes?

We used it for years, but we (our fitters!) also felt it went downhill, so we now use SG1200 as a general screed.
Only problem now is we're finding that it's just going off too quickly in this warmer weather! Any tips??

Don't keep it in the van for long. Schedule the screeds for 1st job, get the bags straight off the van and in the shade.
Alternatively, do them late at night

Do you mean its going off on the subfloor too quickly? Do your lads prime before they screed?

Yes, they are struggling to get it mixed and down/rollered before starts to turn. Also happening when floor is primed.

I have since spoken to F Balls, who also said to ultimately keep the materials cooler.
We're going to invest in a 'Tesco' style chilled vans for the screed jobs!!! haha!

Sorry to have hi-jacked this thread, but hopefully this is all relevant stuff!

Just an update to say we've done some screeding today (SG1200) and we kept the bottles in the fridge overnight! Our fitter just came back to say how well it went down!!
