Solid Oak to Staircase

    gents, fitting a solid oak to a staircase next week (Cladding that is..) I usually adhere the tread & riser but have used tongue-tites, just wondering what you wonderful wood chaps prefer & pro's / con's etc... :cool:

    i use MS polymer adhesive sausages as standard, rew-flex is pretty much the same but in a 'hard' tube & costs a few spondoolee more.. :cool:

    I pin & stick & would recommend flexyfix.Have pelleted & stuck before some people prefer that look

    Flexyfix performance is way superior to any 6oomll MS, even Rewmar's own MS650. Flexyfix was actually developed for exactly this type of job. You should be able to let your customer use the stairs within an hour of finishing the last stair.
