    Anyone use them much?

I've used some a few years back

    Sx 302 was good
    Sx 301 was rubbish
Sx 303 I think is a carpet and flooring special??

They say SX300 is their NA? Anyone used that?

Only used 303 which is my under Dpm budget screed
It flows OK not the best & dries very quick also has a high compression strength.

Always found them to be good for the money, like you say budget screeds.

Sorry to bring up an old thread but tremco sx303 is ****e. I went to CFS yesterday for 15 bags of mapei latexplan but they didn't have enough so they said this screed was good!!! It was drying faster than I could mix it turned up the following day and for the first time in years I've had to get the 500 out and even that hasn't sorted it. I've got to re screed the whole job it doesn't flow I've got lumps bumps the lot absolute crap and worst screed I've ever used.

It's good when it's about 5 degrees otherwise forget it. I had a pallet load for a school - what a pain that was

Just got a couple of pallets of level zone for school work . It was cheap as chips that's why I ordered it. I usually use mapei. May regret it now. Didn't know tremco made it.

Yeah I've recently used level zone screed for the first time. Not impressed at all, felt great as soon as it was mixed and about 5 or so mins later it was like spreading toffee horrible to join on too with the rate it dries.

send it back mate otherwise you will regret it. I've got to re screed this job at my cost of 75 sqm so not massive but with a pallet I'd send it back.

If you buy cheap you you get cheap !!!!
I use tremco 303 under a DPM & not as a final coat
It dries very quickly so if your using it or similar its a must to keep conditions & materials cool ie. Block windows stop airflow, store bottles in a fridge over night if possible & always double prime the sub first coat water mix second neet. Also have someone mixing & feeding you screed plus be quick as hell.
Or even better spend a bit more on a better product...

Well I'm persevering with these pallets of level zone... Never again. But I think the problem is the latex being 4 litres. I think they've made a big cock up . If it was 4.5 -5 litres maybe not that bad. Terrible stuff tho.

screedmaster trade is the same terrible terrible gear, used it subbing and told them not to get it again or they would need to find other labour to put it down.

The screedmaster trade is utter crap I agree, it supposed to have been improved from the first lot but still struggled to get same consistency per mix. I used a latex called 'level it Bond' by Ultra floor (something like that anyway) lastweek and its exactly like NA, was really surprised how well it went down. One of the firms I subby to only really use Ultra floors stuff. Not bad

Used 'level it two' as well, another decent screed.
