Having a Knee transplant (occupational hazard) in September due to not using any protection over the years. Any advice on how to deal with business enquiries during my incapacity to work would be helpful. I've thought of asking the customer to send photos but quoting without actually seeing the job first may be dangerous. Bob www.floorfixer.co.uk
Good luck with the op mate, but when you say a knee transplant what is the exact procedure. When your fit again invest in apair of Mario's medical kneepads £48.00 well spent.
I treated myself to the Alpro medical knee pads couple weeks ago and wished I had of done it from day dot. £66 delivered well worth it!
The alpros are really really good aren't they Slide around a bit but when you get used to them, they're brill!! I bought some redback inserts a few weeks back to try out (I'm obsessed with buying knee pads ha) and they got ripped out yesterday! I'm sticking with the Alpros..
Yes they are brilliant. Wear them with shorts and it can be quite embarrassing when they let out a fart when your knee becomes moist haha. I can see how women fall easy in high heels now because if you move too quick with these alpros on then you are hitting the deck but once you are used to them they are great. Im on a site all week this week and no shorts so was thinking of getting the redbacks but ill stick with my helly pads wrapped with cloud 9 for now forgot to add as well that hope all goes well with your Knee op floorfixer, if your old knee still as 'some' use then ill have it off you - swap you for a box of straights!
Can't wait for my first knee fart  I fall over in my heels all the time so I ain't gonna pop my cherry there
Yeah they are the top of the tree in knee pads . I've been wearing them for six seven years now. Won't wear anything else. It's the only pad I know that you can be on your knees all day fitting and ya knees don't hurt at the end of day. Boss for stair work too kneeling on the step edges , no problem.
