We recently installed LVT for a client on top of Jumpax (there are other suitable products) that reduced the sound a little bit is a long way from...
Not one I know or am familiar with but for North London I’d call these guys. http://www.trimandtuck.co.uk/
Doesn’t it say a lot about this trade that you can ask 10 good fitters and they all say something different :D
I’ve just done a couple of jobs using Caviar and Crystal 9mm. It’s a firmer underlay but the combination feels amazing underfoot.
A couple of ways to compare underlay is to look at the depth (anything 11mm or thicker will require deeper grippers) and the density. A higher...
Cirrus or Caviar and Crystal for me if you prefer a denser feel. I’d go for the same underlay in all areas so it’s consistent underfoot personally.
Ah I see. Sorry mate I don’t have any right now. Good luck, have you tried the Facebook groups?
Have Stairrods not got stock? Johns usually good at getting them out quick when required.
More what? Please stop posting such useless things
Please don’t try it that way you’ll ruin your carpet. Follow Tarkett85’s advice!
Sadly nothing to be done except make sure you’ve got it in writing and take photos for the next customer that asks…
Any good company can order Caviar and Crystal. If the fitter specced that I’d be worried… Connoisseur 8mm would be fine.
Ask your rep mate. Got my samples last week and already sold one job in the Boulevard.
Use the NICF website. You can find an inspector and a good installer on there.
Personally if it’s a loop I tend to gripper the sides on stairs for a tuck ensuring a neat finish with no risk of fraying or a row collapsing....
Cirrus has a lower density so will be softer
I think you need to find a better installer…
It needs to be as good as the specifications say it does. Most likely it will unlock or break on the joins if it’s not flat enough. Board your...
Have a look on the NICF website for some good independent shops. There are a few in your area and they should be able to help.
If I remember correctly Britton’s recommend a combination underlay (ie Brinfelt) with Belltwist so that would be my go to.
