Yes
I would make it quite stiff and build it up and sand
Skirtings fitted before fitting, HT wet set through out for the adhesive
Ardex a45/a46 and then feather. Feather would work in multiple coats though so entirely upto you
And have it done inside a day
I’m sure a chippy would do it on a day rate plus materials.
Get the exacto with the stirrup blade, cost you about 20 quid
Spot on
There shouldn’t be any imperfect cuts, it’s a luxury floor. Yes every cut needs bevelled with amtico except the ones upto skirting, kitchen panels etc
Doesn’t make it easier just find it the better finish, a nice clean cut upto the skirting rather than skirting on top risking a little bit...
We always insist on them on, hate fitting without them, find it a much better job fitting up to them although it is slower
I’m the im the opposite, charge more for no border, much quicker and less skill putting a border in
Get a professional to measure it
I prefer field first but use a straight edge and knife to cut border in. Seen lads use that saws but never tried myself. Also think it’s better...

The bevel dan be put back on, won’t be the cheapest way to get a new floor but if you can’t find another colour you like is a possibility
Ply the full room, no gap
Failing that find a fitter willing to cut down the bigger plank you’ve seen into a 3x9 parquet
Amtico Muted oak or mulled oak?
Wallpaper comes in batches too, maybe common sense isn’t your strong point
