Can anyone recommend the best stuff to take the edge off wooden floor up to concrete, the wooden floor is at worst 5mm proud of the concrete . I’m looking to lay a good quality vinyl over the whole floor , which is half wood half concrete. It is only a rental so also needs to be cheapish solution .
If laying vinyl you would need flat floorboards so plywood over the top would be best then a screeding compound on the concrete. But if cheap then screeding compound to where the ply meets the concrete.
