Hi guys we are planning on carpeting stairs/landing & bedrooms, we have narrowed down our choices to two - Regency carpets solitaire range & Cormar sensation original. We have two different sales person saying each is bettter than the other so we are abit confused would really appreciate some non biased advice please. Thanks in advance.
sensations is a soft carpet, although I have supplied it for stairs it's not one I would recommend, it's soft and flattens easily..... The solitaire is also a soft carpet but is a higher weight at 70onz, I would go with the one that is denser in texture as is less likely to flatten, I haven't seen the solitaire so not sure how dense it is
Both sound too thick for stairs. If you want it to Visually wear better you should use a shorter pile, higher gauge. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The wear warranty on solitaire is double sensation! Maybe you should go with that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Did they show you any 80/20 twists. Won't fatten and hard wearing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
stick a decent loop on the stairs for my money although it will give you the complete opposite look you seem to be after, but will wear a hell of a lot better
