    Hi all,
I’ve Never done a border on carpet before. However a customer has requested it thanks to there interior designer and I’m very tempted to have a go as I’m very confident with my joining up skills and love a challenge.
Question is best way to go about it ?
I’m guessing It is best to systems 10 duralay it full stick and heat seam borders or would you just stretch fit on say cloud9 and heat seam its for a lounge size 6.50 x 5.50 and customer choose Westex so I can get multi width.
    Any tips much appreciated.

Last one we did we just heat seamed it all. It’s not hard. Double stick would probably be even easier if it’s a option

The border is in 2 different colours from the same range so was going to order 1mtr width through the length off room cut roughly in half for both sides then order a separate cut of 5mtr for the ends in total the border will come out 16inch around perimeter off room. I’ll post a pic as example

Yeah I agree, I kept the pile going the same way the last one I did too as it was black.
