Understand there are various combinations of sub floor prep dependent on type of floor and chosen lvt brand. Looking for advise on the following : Sub floor is mostly floorboard which will be plyed with 9mm . The other room is a concrete floor that has had stopgap 1200 applied. No DPM or primer used Looking at the following Uzin products: 404 DPM over the stopgap 1200 PE 280 primer over the dpm PE 360 primer over the ply areas NC 196 fibre bonded screed over all areas Adhesive S 2000 Looking at Harvey Maria Mseries Selected Woods Any concerns with the above combinations ?
Any reason your mixing manufacturer products? I find it’s always best to stick to a ‘all in 1 system’ from the same manufacturer. So even if it’s fails for whatever reason, you have the backup from that manufacturer. If you mix n match you’ve got nowt
360 is a concrete primer 630 is for wood Forget the 1200 Uzin is always a good system so stick with that And ke66 is a much better adhesive the 2000s
The stopgap was already down so the unzin would need to go on top. Unless go for more Fball products but suspect costs would increase
Thanks your right it should be the 630 for the ply The uzin should be ok going over the stopgap as understood the stopgap1200 is moisture tolerant ? Probably no need for the ke66 as not really high temperature areas Is the 2000s still a reasonable product? Thanks
Fball will be cheaper. You should speak to fball and they will advise you what products to use Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
