I got an Amtico floor fitted in my restaurant two and a half years ago. After about 4 months parts of it started to come up and the fitter, who was sent by the suppliers, came out and repaired it; although it was not perfect.
In the past year the floor is coming up really badly and we have tried on numerous occassions to get fitter back but he does not respond to calls.
Half of the floor was originally quarry tiles and the other half concrete.
Is this common ? or how can it be sorted ?

the floor underneath is a dark grey colour. I think this was screed? the fitter put down.

There is a white wet, mussy glue underneath that is stuck to the flooring and the grey base. The glue seems to not of dried. Is this normall?

sounds to me like a moister problem as in damp from underneath.

Hard to say tho without seeing the flooring.

    Hi

Is the part of the floor coming up where the quarry tiles where?

If so i would say it is a moisture problem but as matt said, its hard to tell without seeing the floor.
    Where abouts are you from?
