I laid Amtico Stratica in my kitchen but Amtico's own adhesive went off so quickly that we had to abandon using it. We then bought Evostick Flooring Adhesive. I finished the floor just days before Christmas and now it is lifting in places. I have stuck some of them down again but the tiles have started curling up at the edges and I am having to lay really heavy weights on them to try and flatten them again. They are not quite as flat as they should be now. I fear that they may all lift again. Does anyone know of a really good adhesive I could use. Thank you. Back to top
it may not be the adhesive, it could be moister etc. I think you need to start again or at least call in a pro to see if they can rescue your floor.
It sounds like you were using amticos acrylic adhesive, you need to only glue out what you can fit in about half an hour. Using oher adhesives is a huge risk when amtico recommend to only use there own adhesive.
I know this is an old post but I am sure Stratica (according to Amtico) can only only be fitted on(Universal) Epoxy. I was once told by an Amtico trainer that Amtico is short for AMerican TIle COmpany. (Yes I know I'm full of s**t and useless information).
