Ardex NA

    Just taken up a room of carpet tiles , and obviously has left tackifier residue on the floor, we are laying LVT on a screeded floor , could we go straight over with Ardex NA .

    Scrape it up, degrease, prime and use whatever screed you want. They say you can go over small amounts of residual adhesive but I have seen them fail before doing that.

    Chuck Sand over it and a buffer with low grit will remove loads of it. Then latex over it. Compound doesn’t flow well over tackifier
