Got a stairs landing in stripe coming up for a friend of mine so I've decided to order a bit extra and try my hand at bending the winders.

I have never been shown or have any idea how others do this but I'm going yo give it a wirl regardless

My thinking is to double stick the riser on each winder and then cut down the stripe in sections and gradually turn each section to meet the next risers matching stripes.

    How far off am I

How much extra carpet did you order for the experimenting?

Nice choice of carpet your mate has by the way, we've had same for near 5yrs and its very hard wearing

Did you not try cutting into thinner strips?
