A salesman's just baffled me. I want an LVT floor in a conservatory/kitchen where the heat range isn't as extreme as usual in the UK. It has an insulated roof, so there's no direct sunlight and we have blinds over most windows and curtains over two. The conservatory runs into the kitchen which has 3 solid walls. He said glue-down was the only solution because of the temperature range. He also said we should fit the kitchen units in place before laying the floor and then cut the floor to fit. He may have been giving good advice - but he was also really keen to make a sale. Thanks.
Without seeing the job, i'd probably recommend glue down over click aswell, although i wouldn't necessarily rule out a good quality click until i'd seen where it was going, as for putting the kitchen in first, i'd agree, firstly you don't want people working on your new floor, secondly why pay for flooring you will never see
