Anyone else constantly walking on to estimates with exterior bricks being left where the builders have put on a extension but not joined the subfloor together? I’m seeing it on loads of jobs. Nearly everyone the builders don’t seem to want to take responsibility for it.
This ones a nightmare as it’s chipboard joining on to screed with Amtico under the protection.
One of the builders said they don’t need to damp proof it as it now a internal wall. Wow

F*****kin-jeeezus, they hate the word damp proof...

...takes the piss. When you think the builder couldn't get anymore lazy then they leave every corner out on a fresh filled extension then proceed to put the skirts on knowing there's still a 50mm of nothing

    As for bricks ...

It's like when they fit patio doors, they'll make the external brickwork tidy, they'll plaster the internal walls, but when it comes to making the floor right, it's acceptable to just wack a big piece of wood over it
