For some context the house is a new build and they’ve put that awful mastic around the bottom of the skirting, which is causing issues as it won’t let the floor lay flat - although we were told that it would be taken off prior to the floor being laid, and it wasn’t as it seeks it’s too difficult/time consuming to get off.

The owner is been out with the fitter and they spent a day sorting out a load of the cut marks and poor edges, and the floor is looking a lot better but I’m still not really happy with it. Any help massively appreciated, even if it’s to tell me I’m asking too much from this sort of flooring.
