Don’t float T&G, you need to overboard the sub-floor then secret nail or glue directly to the floor.

Depends what your using. V4 t and g floated is better than most clic systems. Still prefer to stick it down but wouldn’t worry about floating it if the subfloors good

Can I float directly onto floorboards or do I need to overboard the floorboards?
