Carpet manufacturer recommendations that supply 3m drop

Went to my local floor layers shop and he couldn’t recommend any carpets that came in 3 meter drops .

Might not seem that big an issue but I have 4 rooms all generally 2.8 meters by 4.2 / 5 m so slightly frustrating that 16+ square meters of waste at least

Can anyone recommend any carpets that do or is it quite niche ? He will be supplying underlay / gripper just trying to save a little on carpet

Just going to have to buy the 4m widths.
Is one of the rooms a box room/spare room?

I had similar few months ago and I managed to get the 3rd bedroom out of the waste with a nice neat join.

 

The 5meter room you could buy a 5m width piece by however long it is ie 2.85 x 5.00

 

5.08 m into french window recess :*(


Every room is awkward . Least I can have plenty of spare stairs ( the landing however again is 2.6 width at its widest point )

 

For the sake of the 0.08 you may aswell have a small join

 

Have your stairs done at same time, bet that'll use up a decent chunk

Tapi carpets have ranges available in 3m, you could see if they have anything you like.

 

Westex do as well

 

They do 3.66 wide

Abingdon only do a 2 and a 2.5m variant on top of the usual 4 &5m now.

Associated Weavers still do a 3m in certain carpets from the Invictus range.

 

What sort if charges do they sting you to have a carpet in 3m width mate?

It's one of their "regular" sizes, so comes out at the same cut price we usually pay. They recently discontinued the 1m and 2m drops.

It's only the Invictus and StainAway ranges - so not on iSense, Softissimo, Vivendi, Sedna etc....

 

Do you have a direct account with AW then?

 

Oh yes, and around a sixth of the showroom is AW. Have most (if not all) their current pp/sdn/pa products on display.

 

I like the Vivendi range, done near full house couple weeks ago but in that horrible bluey green mainly upstairs
