hi everyone, do any of you use a carpet trimmer for fitting carpets? If so which one do you find the best. Thanks for any responses.

Floorsbysouthernboys does a video on how to set it up. Like i said though i couldnt get on with it much before i started using a speedcat, but its great for those cloth backed carpets that blunt your blade after 2 feet.

What are they like on thick Saxony?
I have them and a crain (similar to the roberts) and a speedcat, but have never got round to trying them properly
