Now they have tapi I’m guessing they will run carpetright into the ground and go bust owing shit loads of money to the bank and who ever else deals with them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It's probably all about the rents for the retail units. I expect to see that they are negotiating with their landlords. If they aren't already.
I don't think they are going under low profit warning as they have spent a sh@t load of money on refurbing the outdated 80s look of to stores I fit for them , and haven't ever been as busy as i have been in the last year or so true shares are down in price , im thinking of getting a couple of thousand pounds worth myself , as i think they will go back up got to say things there have gotten alot better for us fitters since fat tw@t Harris left ( good riddance i say ) Tapi is owned by fat tw@t Harris,s son , not sure that they are doing to well may have been the wrong time to open quite so many shops at once But who knows , will just have to wait and see
One thing to keep in mind is most of their retail units and the land they’re on are owned by Harris, so considering he no longer owns the brand they’ll be paying rent on land they used to own. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
