Hi syd Took your lvt level 1&2 lvt course a few years ago have been fitting recently for carpetright and showed them certificates off floors kills to register for their lvt fitting. Reply from head office was they don't recognise floorskills. Was wondering if you are aware of this
Tell Carpetright to stop trying to make out they are professional all a sudden as it's too late. Least you have the certificate to prove you actually attended a course unlike some of their fitters I've come across who are just chancers, butchers and stabbers Are they saying they can't take you on because of this? ....I'm not syd by the way
Hi, they want you to carry out an assessment. its not training. If you fail the assessment then they would like you to under take training. Like wise, if you pass the assessment, you wont be asked to carry out any training. As it happens, it will be FloorSkills who does the assessment.
