Morning guys, we’ve got a job to fit a load of engineered herringbone wood. About 150sqm of a 1st floor, they have had ceramic tiles that have been fitted onto chipboard panels. Obviously it has tile
Adhesive down now, so we need to screed before we fit the wood. Which screed would be best to use? Thanks Aaron

Thanks mate, yeah that’s the 2 I was thinking of using, will give them a price for both, would you use the eco grip primer as well?

    Hi Aaron,

We only ever use a flexible S2, never had any issues with it.

Yeah use the grip primer mate
Give the ceramics a couple of cleans with some balls cleaner and your good to go providing none of them are loose

He's screeding over them, not fixing them down

Sorry guys should have been clearer, old ceramic tiles are taken up, the tile adhesive is left in places, which is what we want to screed over. Never heard of a flexible S2?

Ahhhh right, get a pad on it and sand it down I would.
Is it rough yeah? As in the old adhesive in chunks?

If its rough as, then you'll be putting alot more screed down. I'd buff it down, vac it out and depending on the state of the chipboard you might get away with just a 6mm/9mm plyboard and feather
