Hello all, Thanks to the great advice on here, I happily levelled and laid LVT in our kitchen and it's time to tackle the hallway now. It's currently got carpet and you can notice the unevenness when walking on it, and so have gotten around to lifting it up to take a look (will try to attach pics) - looks like its got a crack and is hollow to tap, which causes it to be ~20mm higher than the floor either side. So, I'm wondering how drastic this is to fix - can I chip away the ridge and then look to level across it, or is it something far more scary and I should just roll the carpet back and forget it?!? Cheers!
