So you've had NA, covered with feather and then covered again with mapei?

 

NA is soft but not supposed to be that soft lol
No way will it stand up to any weighted pressure

 

Hi rugmunching.
I've asked the floorer to remove it but he said that he won't get it up has it will be OK.

That why he has gone over it with mapei.
When he comes its not by himself he has another bloke with him and I try to argue that its not right and both say it'll be OK.

 

So they saying its perfectly fine to fit on a screed that you can squish with your finger....time to get some pro's in, they sound rough...

 

I've just checked the new stuff on the floor and pressed my nail in and my fingers in with some pressure and no marks are showing.

What do you think?

Yes they did. The fitter said it was down to the thunderstorm we had due to humidity and moisture.

Would you think it'll be OK now that he's put 2-3mm on top and that when I've pressed in hard I can't mark it.?

 

Harder screed on top of a soft one no really. What day they lay the Mapei coat

 

He laid it on Friday.
