Conservatory floor

    oops, I've been getting the stretch from the carpet. Sorry, from now I will stretch gripper instead...:rolleyes:

    yes carpet rooms in an ideal world completely empty but for as you said any flooring is maybe the wrong wording

    Soooo about the spikes... I assume they would damage the LVT if I don't take them off?

    yeah they will, they should come up easy enough unless they're properly fixed try a small area first.

    I may be wrong, but do you not get 'sucker' feet for hard flooring?

    i have B&W speakers and the spikes unscrew.


    The spikes are there to go through carpet and hit the subfloor to improve acoustics. . Unless you have carpet you dont need them, hence they should unscrew.

    Thanks, I've taken the spikes off all the speakers now. That just leaves the hi-fi rack.

    I'm thinking of setting up a webcam so that everyone can see the work in progress, what do you reckon? :p
